ESPN holds an annual picnic. They reserve Lake Compounce and provide food, drink, rides, games, and goodies.

Olessia and D were able to join me for the day and had a great time.

The park was excellent and had plenty to do for D. There were bumper cars, a roller coaster, old-time cars to drive, and the water park area even had some areas just for his age group. D already asked when we’re coming back.

D experienced his first roller coaster ride and seemed to love it.

One of the attractions at Lake Compounce is a young people bumper cars. The 2nd time D gave it a try, he was pretty excited afterwards and seemed to have fun. But shortly later, after the excitement wore off, he said he didn’t like it because there was a lot of crashing involved. Noted!
