Please Touch Museum

D and I ventured out to Philadelphia to visit the Please Touch Museum (a children’s museum for 6 month olds to 8 year olds). D had a blast and there was quite a bit to do and play with! The water setup was fantastic – there was plenty of room for the kids to claim a spot near the water and play with boats, fans, pumps, or simulated locks. They had a vehicle section which I think D was the most excited about. He drove everything – a bus, trolley, a Kia (I think it was a Kia), a miniature VW Beetle, a truck, a monorail, and some other things.

We were going to ride the carousel, but there was much more important things to do and play with so D opted to skip it.

Amazing museum. We were able to apply our LICM membership and get discounted tickets today. The only bummer part was the drive. It initially looked to be an hour and a half to get there but ended up being a solid 2 hour drive. Two hours isn’t usually a big deal, but NJ and NYC drivers require you to stay on your toes to watch out for last minute stops, getting cut off, and what not. D seemed to think the drive was worth it.

There’s a poor photo of the model ABC 6 helicopter. ABC 6 is a Disney owned ABC station and I’m due to start working on their iOS app (and all the other Disney owned station apps) in the next week or so.
