D had the instructor to himself (his 2nd classmate was a no show). Баба (grandma) joined us. D had missed the last 2 weeks due an ear infection. He worked hard for 30 minutes. It looked like he was working on his scoops, breathing, a little bit of water rescue (what to do if you fall in the pool and get tired), swimming with and without swim aids, and a bit of jumping into the pool.

He had a ton fun. I think he only scared the instructors 2 times today. Once when he took on water and started choking. The second time was after a bathroom break, he came back to the pool and did a running leap and jumped in (definitely a pool no-no). The instructors nearby freaked as it happened. He bobbed up to the surface and was fine.
