Heart Restarted!

Olessia and D dropped me off at New York Presbyterian in Flush. Because of COVID and for their safety, they could only drop me off. Word at admissions was they just recently started performing procedures again. Two weeks ago, they weren’t even performing emergency procedures. They are still not doing elective procedures at this time, so I’m guessing mine falls under “emergency” then? They did TEE (to take pictures of my heart and look for blood clots) and they did a cardio diversion (I think that’s what I heard them call it). They defibrillated my heart. Atrial Fibrillation

Whoa. Olessia caught this on video. I was chasing and being chased. My watch said it was for about 7 minutes (doesn’t seem like much). It apparently surprised my heart. I ended up pretty winded and my heart was racing. This was on Sunday the 26th.An hour later, my heart was still chugging away, even when sitting at the dinner table and not moving much.
